This is an original 1877 black and white wood engraving of the Porte St. Denis, a triumphal arch located in Paris, France that was originally inspired by the arch of Titus in Rome, Italy. The Parisian monument was built by architect FranÇois Blondel and sculptor Michel Anquier in 1672 CE to honor the victories of King Louis XIV.
