This is an excellent original 1878 halftone print of the Union Iron Mills in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; owned by Carnegie Brothers & Company. The Union Iron Mills was one of the largest rolling-mills in the United States, situated between the Alleghany River and the Alleghany Valley Railroad in the 15th Ward.
