This is an original 1882 hand-colored lithograph by English entomologist William Forsell Kirby (1844-1912), of several species of moths, including; the Erastria deceptoria, (Fig. 1), the Erastria fasciana, (Fig. 2), the Spotted Sulphur, Emmelia trabealis, (Fig. 3, a-b), the Trothisa respersa, (Fig. 4), the Trothisa rosea, (Fig. 5), the Trothisa purpurina, (Fig. 6), the Herminia tentacularia, (Fig. 7), the Herminia derivalis, (Fig. 8), the Halias prasinana, (Fig. 9, a-d), and the Chloephora bicolorana, (Fig. 10, a-d).
