This is an original 1882 hand-colored lithograph by English entomologist William Forsell Kirby (1844-1912), of several species of moths from the genus Agrotidae, including; the Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing, Triphaena fimbria, (Fig. 1, a-c), the Tryphaena ianthina, (Fig. 2, a-b), the Tryphaena comes, (Fig. 3, a-b), the Tryphaena orbona, (Fig. 4), the Cutworm, Tryphaena pronuba, (Fig. 5, a-c), and the Hiria linogrisea, (Fig. 6).

This 131+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Moderate aging in margins. Moderate surface rub - right margin. Light water stain - top margin.
