This is an original 1882 monochrome wood engraving of The Brewers' House in the market place of Hildesheim in Lower Saxony, Germany. In World War II, Hildesheim was hit by bombs, damaging most of the buildings in the market. The Brewers' house became a hotel in the 1960s
