This is an original 1882 monochrome wood engraving of the belfry of Bergues, France (Republique Française). The historic landmark was built in the 13th century, but destroyed after the invasion in 1383 and restored in teh 19th century. Unfortunately, the belfry was badly damaged during World War II, and was rebuilt again in 1961.
