This is an original 1883 photolithograph of "The Prison Scene", the seventh in a series of eight paintings by William Hogarth (1697-1764) entitled "A Rake's Progress" or "The Rake's Progress" that portrayed "spendthrift" Tom Rakewell in a jail cell at Fleet debtor's prison in London, England.
