This is an original 1884 black and white wood engraving of a fresco by Giottino (1324-1369) who was an Italian painter from Florence, Italy. He was born Tommaso di Stefano. He learned to paint from his father and studied the works of the master painter Giotto. Giottino was named after Giotto since his style was similar to the master's.
