1888 Chromolithograph Funeral Procession Holland Uniform Frederick Henry LCH4

This is a rare original 1888 color chromolithograph which depicts the extremely drawn out funeral procession of Frederic Henry, Prince of Orange, who died in the Hague, in 1647. As stadtholder of Holland, Zeeland, Utreacht, Guelders, and Overijssel (the five provinces of United Netherlands), he led them into a period of prosperity that is generally referred to as the Dutch Golden Age.
