1888 Chromolithograph Men Fashion Chaussee-d'Antin Paris 19th Century LCH5

This is a rare original 1888 color chromolithograph which touches upon the various men's fashions in France between 1801-105. The lower panel contains a similar composition to the sort of artwork that the middle classes would have hung in their dining rooms. It depicts a small crowd waiting to be received by someone of importance along the Rue de Chaussée-d'Antin in Paris, with each figure wearing unique clothing that is indicative of their various professions.
