This is a rare original 1888 color chromolithograph which depicts some of the different costumes worn by Russian men from Oryol, Podolia, and Romania, as well as unique look at education in the Crimean.

Top (Left to right) - Cossack pastor from Podolia - Two Russians from Oryol - Two Romanians.

Bottom - Tartar children receiving an outdoor education in the Crimean. The young boys are wearing kalpaks made of sheepskin, and the instructor looks toasty in his kyssa-kurk made of thick fur. Both the boys and girls are schooled together.
