1889 Ad Morgan Cornell Grocer Tea Stand Coffee Beef - ORIGINAL ADVERTISING GROC2

098211_groc2_056

This is an original 1889 black and white print ad for furnishings from Morgan & Cornell from 213 Duane Street, New York. The ad features an image of a beef cutter, a scale, a coffee mill, a butter cooler, and a show case.

This is one of the most rare grocery-related original advertising items we have procured. It is from a rare trade journal printed in original letterpress manner (you can feel the emboss, deboss feel to the letter printed areas of each ad). Images were woodblock prints for most and are amazing. The journal this was removed from only went to grocery owners and industry buyers. A one-of-a-kind item in this condition and size. There will likely be some bleed through on all originals from this collection as the stock was thin. Extraordinary and important historical ads.
