This is an original 1892 black and white heliogravure of Barbara Palmer who was the first Duchess of Cleveland and Countess of Castlemaine. She was an English courtesan and perhaps the most notorious mistress of King Charles II. Her influence was so grand that she was deemed "The Uncrowned Queen."
