Cairo,"The Vanquisher" or "The Conqueror," is Egypt's capital, as well as the country's largest city. It is also the largest metropolitan city in the continent of Africa. Cairo is one of the most densely inhabited cities in the world. It has been nicknamed "The City of A Thousand Minarets," and was reportedly founded by the Fatimid Dynasty around the 10th century.

CONDITION
This 118+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. Light aging throughout. No creases. No water damage. This 7 x 5 inch etching is mounted on its original fiber board measuring approx. 10.5 x 8 inches (note: there is printing on the reverse of the mounting board). The etching is in spectacular condition and would look stunning framed. (Please note that any aging in the outer margins is more pronounced in the digital image than on the actual item. In addition, the brilliant gold gilt appears dull brown in the digital image.)
