Saint Helena/Helena Augusta/Helena of Constantinople was the mother of the Emperor Constantine. It is estimated that she was born around 250 and died around 330. St. Helena is most notably famous for her piety, construction or enhancement of two churches, discoveries of the relics of Jesus, such as the nails of his crucifixion, parts of his tunic, pieces of the rope that was used to tie Jesus to the cross, as well as pieces of the holy cross.

The term Isthmus is defined as a narrow strip of land connecting two larger lands, generally with bodies of water on either side. In this case, Isthmus of Suez connects Asia and Africa. Suez and Ismailia are seaside cites in the northeastern area of Egypt. The city of Suez is known to be a popular stop for the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca. Port Tawfiq is a harbor of Suez. The town of Ismailia was documented to be found in 1863, during the Suez Canal construction. The Muslim Brotherhood was reportedly found in Ismailia by Hassan El-Banna in March of 1928.
