This is a beautiful photogravure of Moses in the Bulrushes by Paul Delaroche. This image shows Moses being sent down the river by his sister Miriam because the Pharaoh sent soldiers to all the homes to kill all of the new born baby boys. Moses floated down the river to the Queen who took him in and raised him as her own.
