1895 Print Raphael Donna Velata Renaissance Portrait - ORIGINAL SM1

This is an original 1895 heliogravure of the "La Donna Velata" or "The Woman with the Veil" by the Italian Renaissance master painter, Raphael Sanzio (1483 Ð 1520). Supposedly a portrait of Raphael's mistress, the original painting now resides in the Palazzo Pitti or Pitti Palace in Florence, Italy. Heliogravure by Dr. E. Albert & Co.

This lovely piece comes from No. 51 of an edition of plates limited to 300 copies. It would look beautiful framed.

CONDITION

This 116+ year old Item is rated Very Fine / Fine. No creases. No natural defects. No tears. No water damage. There is some light foxing in the margins of the outer border and some light creasing in the top left corner of the outer margin which do not affect the printed area--please see image.
