Period Paper is pleased to offer a collection of relief halftone prints which display works from the Glasgow Boys during the late 19th century. These artists were critical in developing Scotland's distinct Glasgow Style, which based itself off earlier Impressionist and Post-Impressionist ideas. Featuring natural and realistic scenes, they captured rural Scotland and other parts of the world with thick brush strokes and a passion unrivaled by their Scottish contemporaries.
This piece was illustrated by Roche, Alexander. Artist signature in print - bottom left of image.
