This is an original 1898 black and white print ad for Pond's Extract-- "a relief for every pain." The extract was invented by Theron Ponds, after he discovered that making a tea out of witch hazel helped heal cuts and wounds. He sold the product under the name, "Golden Treasure," and when he passed away, the extract was then marketed under, "Pond's Extract."
