"General Wolfe"
This is an original 1898 monochrome halftone print of a painting by Schack of a portrait of Major General James Wolfe, who served in the British Army from 1740 until 1759. He was the son of Lieutenant General Edward Wolfe. Wolfe served in numerous battles, the most famous being during the Seven Years' War where he led the capture of Quebec and was post humorously celebrated as a hero. Wolfe was unfortunately killed during the taking of Quebec from three musket ball wounds.
