This is an original 1899 halftone print of the shipyard in Dordrecht on the Mervede (Merwede). This was one of the main cities on the Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt Delta and served as port for many ships loading and unloading for the factories built along the rivers. The Grote Kerk can be seen on the horizon.
