This is an original 1901 black and white halftone print of the Arch of Trajan (Triumph) which is located at Timgad (Thimgad or Thamugas or Tamugadi) in Algeria, north Africa. This was an ancient Roman colonial town that was founded by Emperor Trajan around 100 AD.
