This is an original 1901 black and white relief line-block print of the death of Gustavus Adolphus (Gustav II Adolf) (1594-1632) of Sweden at the battle of Lützen, Norway. He was the King of Sweden from 1611 to 1632 and founder of the Swedish Empire (Stormaktstiden).
