This is a small ultra rare important historical original 1902 black and white print ad for the Cumnock School of Expression in Los Angeles, California, led under the direction of Addie Murphey Gregg. The architecture of this school was modeled after Shakespeare's home at Stratford-on-Avon. This school, which opened in 1894 under Mrs. Merrill Moore Grigg, was named after Dr. Robert McLean Cumnock, a literature interpreter, as well as the head of the School of Oratory at Northwestern University. In 1928, the school became coeducational.
