This is an original 1902 black and white photogravure of William Pitt the Younger (May 28, 1759-Jan. 23, 1806). In 1783 he was named the youngest British Prime Minister at the age of 24. Pitt the Younger is most immediately recognized as the man who led the Royal crown in opposition to the French during the Napoleonic Wars.
