This is an original 1903 halftone print of the taking of Dapur, which was located in Galilee. It was taken after a siege, by Pharaoh Ramesses II, as part of the Egyptian-Hittite Wars. This bas-relief is part of a mural in his mortuary temple at Thebes, Egypt.

This item is from a limited edition collection of important historical prints of Ancient Egypt produced in 1903. The edition size produced at that time was out of 1,000 and this collection of prints was numbered 763. The edition and number are not present on the individual item but rather was provided for the collection as a whole.
