This is an original 1903 halftone print of the gate to DolmabahÇe Palace in Istanbul (Formerly Constantinople), Turkey. This ornate structure made of stone and bronze stood as a mere preview to the opulence to behold within the palace itself which was the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire between the years of 1856 and 1922.
