1903 Print Morris High School Tower NY Charles B. Snyder Architecture ARC5

This is an original 1903 halftone print of Morris High School. The school was designed by Charles B. J. Snyder, known for his urban planning. Snyder focused on safety and health issues inside of schools. He fireproofed the buildings with terra cotta bricks, and made sure there were several windows in each classroom to allow the sunshine in.

CONDITION

This 108+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine+. Light aging throughout. Moderate crease - center. No natural defects. Some moderate surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that this is a large centerfold print, so there is a heavy crease horizontally across the center due to the way it was folded in the original publication. Please also note that there is a moderate scuff on the top center right margin.
