This is an original 1903 halftone print of the Meidum Pyramid in Egypt. Supposedly built for Pharaoh Huni of the 3rd Dynasty, Pharaoh Sneferu later turned the step pyramid into a true pyramid by encasing it in limestone. However, the outer covering has since collapsed, revealing its original design.
