This is an original 1903 halftone print of the "Return of the Fleet from Santiago", with the USS New York Battleship which that under the command of Admiral William Thomas Sampson. Admiral Sampson was a United States Navy rear admiral, best known for his victory in the Battle of Santiago de Cuba during the Spanish-American War.
