This is an original 1904 black and white relief line-block map of the final attack phase of the Battle of Talavera on July 28th, 1809. The French army attacked multiple times however each assault was repulsed by Arthur Wellesley, who later became a defining military leader during the Peninsular War, and eventually would lead to the downfall of Napoleon at Waterloo.
