This is an original 1904 black and white relief line-block map of the Siege of Ciudad Rodrigo in 1812 during the Peninsular War in 1812. Allied British and Portuguese forces besieged then captured the city from the Imperial French Army after several weeks of siege and bombardment, which resulted with the opening of two separate breaches in the fortifications, which were promptly stormed. The city fell into Anglo-Porutguese hands on the 20th of January, 1812.
