This is an original 1904 black and white halftone print of the Sando (approaching road) to Zotokuin Temple in Yokohama, Japan. Today this area is now the Gaijin Bochi (Foreigner Cemetery) where many of Commodore Perry's men and other foreigners who died in Japan are buried such as Xavier Bertram, Edouard Sandrock and Charles Imhoff.
