This is an original 1905 tipped-in color print of a painting by French artist, Slaby Fr. This painting is of a typical spring day. The grass is starting to turn green, the trees still are bare. The world starts to look alive again. Harsh winters make us crave these beautiful times, and Slaby does a great job with immense use of colors and a great composition.
