This is an original 1906 black and white print ad for The Two-Cycle Elmore, a product of The Elmore Manufacturing Company, located at 1604 Amanda Street in Clyde, Ohio. The company was founded by James and Burton Becker. In 1909, General Motors founder William C. Durant purchased the Elmore Manufacturing Company. However, in 1910, Durant was pushed out of GM and Elmore automobiles began being cut from the manufacturing line to conserve on costs and achieve financial security.
