This is an original 1906 black and white print ad for Brand's A1 Sauce. Originially A1 was created by Henderson William Brand who was chef to King George IV of the United Kingdom. The king supposedly picked the name A1 for the sauce and later it went into production by Brand and Company. It is now being produced by Kraft Foods. G. F. Heublein and Brother, sole agents, located in Hartford, New York.
