This is an original 1906 color print of the Acropolis from the site of the Temple of Olympian Zeus in Greece. The two detached columns belong to the west end of the southern peristyle of the temple. To the right is the Arch of Hadrian.

Fulleylove, John

John Fulleylove (Aug. 18, 1845 Ð May 22, 1908) was an English landscape artist and illustrator. Fulleylove was originally trained as an architect before gaining interest in watercolor and oils. He painted his way through France, Italy, Greece and the Middle East and some of his work has appeared in travel books. He had a daughter who was a stained glass designer and a son who married a puzzle designer.
