This is an original 1906 color print of the city of Zamora which is located in the region of Castile and León in Spain. It is not far from the border of Portugal and is situated on the Duero river. Zamora has 24 Romanesque churches, the most in all of Europe.
The Church of Santa Maria de la Horta is a Romanesque church and its construction was begun in the 12th century AD.
