This is an original 1906 black and white halftone print of a portrait of Polish military commander and political revolutionary, Colonel Jan Kilinski (1760-1819). Originally a shoemaker by trade, Kilinski led a unit of National Militia during the Warsaw Uprising and Kosciuszko Uprising of 1794.
