This is an original 1906 black and white halftone print of a portrait of Polish socialist politician, historian, and journalist, Bolesław Limanowski (1835-1935). One of the first people to promote socialism in Poland, Limanowski founded the Socialist Association of Polish People and was a founding member of the Polish Socialist Party (PPS).
