This is an original 1906 halftone print of Camels in the desert. Camels are truly amazing animals. They are able to survive in conditions that most other animal cannot. They can go for days without water; they can live on a variety of food sources, be it vegetation, meat or bone. Because they live in such rough environments they are able to avoid most predators that would cut into their food supply. They are a very docile creature that responds well to kindness, but can show a very stubborn side when mistreated. They are to be loved and respected, and because of their stamina and their docile nature, this is easy for us to do.
