This is an original 1906 black and white halftone print of the insignia for the Liberian Humane Order of African Redemption, which was originally founded during the presidency of Anthony W. Gardiner in 1879. If framed tightly, the original integrity of this historic piece will not appear compromised, as the ink blends in nearly seamlessly into the darkness of the image's black background.
