This is a rare original 1907 black and white print ad for the Darracq Motor Car Company, located at 1989 Broadway in New York. This ad specially features the Six Cylinder Car de Luxe for 1907. The company was founded by Alexandre Darracq in 1896, and produced electric motor carriages until 1900, when they began manufacturing vehicles with internal combustion engines. Darracq was able to start up this business from the profits he incurred from the sale of his Gladiator Bicycle Factory.
