The hotel also houses the Berry Museum (Musée Berry), which is filled with historical artifacts from Bourges and is a great place for any inquisitive mind to visit.

Marshall, Herbert Menzies

English painter and illustrator Herbert Menzies Marshall (1814-1913) was born in Leeds and studied at both Westminster School and Cambridge University. He soon discovered that watercolors were his passion, and due to his great talent, he was able to exhibit at such places as the Royal Academy. Later in life, he became a professor at Queen's College, teaching his students the fine art of landscape painting.
