This is an original 1907 halftone print of the exterior of the New York Aquarium. This aquarium is the oldest continually operating aquarium in the United States. Originally, the aquarium opened in Castle Garden in Battery Park, Manhattan in 1896; however, during the mid 1950s, the structure was relocated to Coney Island in Brooklyn.
