This is an original 1907 black and white halftone print of the Doge's Palace which is a palace in Venice, Italy. It was built in the 9th century in the Venetian Gothic style to be the home of the Doge or ruler of Venice. The winged lion over the doorway is a traditional symbol of Venice and of the patron saint of Venice, Saint Mark.
