This is an original 1908 black and white halftone print of the Mausoleum of Hadrian, also known as the Castel Sant'Angelo (Castle of the Holy Angel), a towering building located in the park of Parco Adriano in the city of Rome, Italy. Adrian or Hadrian (Caesar Publius Aelius Traianus Hadrianus Augustus) was the 14th Emperor of the Roman Empire, and well-known for building the Hadrian's Wall (Roman Britain limit), the Temple of Venus and Roma, and rebuilding the Pantheon.
