1909 Ad Onyx Hosiery Lips Women Taylor Suggestive Lord - ORIGINAL LHJ1

This is a rare, unusual original 1909 black and white print ad for Onyx Hosiery from the Lord and Taylor Wholesale Distributors located in New York. This is a very suggestive ad that states Onyx will be on the lips of every women in America. Likely the most unique of all the Onyx ads we've seen over the years.

CONDITION

This 102+ year old Item is rated Very Fine / Fine. Light aging throughout. No creases. No natural defects. Light scuff - right side. No tears. Moderate water stain - bottom. There is a large water stain across the whole bottom of this ad and a bit up into the right margin, there is also a small brown blemish just above that. These are visible in the digital copy. There is also some very light wrinkling of the left margin.
