This is an original 1909 four-page (2 pages, double-sided) print article "Inaugurating a President in a Blizzard" by Hugh C. Weir, including two halftone images, from The World Today, April, 1909. The author reports on the snowy March 4, 1909 Inauguration of President William Howard Taft. Due to the inclement weather (10 inches of snow), Taft's Inauguration was held indoors, in the Senate chamber, although the Inaugural Parade and Ball took place as scheduled. Please see all four images.
