This is an original 1910 halftone print of a shell hoe found in a village archaeological site in Fort Ancient, Ohio. Fort Ancient flourished from 11th to the middle of the 18th century, and is known for producing small, triangular flint arrowheads, and making hoes with mussel shells. The latter is seen in the image.

This 101+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light wrinkling. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there is print on the verso.
